Step 1: In a medium pot bring the four cups of water, mushrooms, and bouquet garni to a light boil then simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes until the mushrooms are rehydrated.
Step 2: Strain liquid into another pot. Add the chicken broth and again bring the pot to a simmer. Finally, turn the heat down to low and keep the mix hot.
Step 3: Chop the rehydrated mushrooms and set aside. Discard the Bouquet.
Step 4: Remove the pot from heat and set aside.
